Abominable Review

Written and directed by Jill Culton (Open Season) and co-directed by Todd Wilderman, Abominable tells the story of Shanghai teenage girl Yi (Chloe Bennet), who is recovering after losing her father and is in a “loaner type” stage in her life. In a way, Abominable resembles the movie Coco because it shows us family values, except for this time it’s with an Asian family instead of a Latin one. Even though they’re different cultures the message given about family bonding and being true to yourself holds strong. It’s a sweet adventure, suitable for the whole family. There plenty of funny scenes like when the kids are hungry and Everest shows them what it can do with its powers. Below is a small clip from a fan that couldn’t wait to see the film.
