John Wick 4 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and it did not disappoint. The movie features non-stop action that rivals that of The Raid 1 and The Raid 2, which are both known for their intense and well-choreographed fight scenes. The spectacular fighting choreography in John Wick 4 is a cut above the previous film, John Wick 3, and will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
The plot of John Wick 4 continues where the previous movie left off, with John Wick (played by Keanu Reeves) being on the run after being declared excommunicado. He must navigate a dangerous world where assassins are around every corner and alliances are constantly shifting. As always, Keanu Reeves delivers an outstanding performance as the title character, showcasing his incredible fighting skills and stamina.
One of the standout features of John Wick 4 is the impressive ensemble cast. The addition of new characters, including Bill Skarsgård, Scott Adkins, and Donnie Yen, adds depth to the already complex world of the Continental Hotel and the High Table. The action scenes involving these characters are some of the most memorable in the entire movie.
Overall, John Wick 4 is a must-watch for fans of the action genre. With breathtaking fight scenes and a compelling plot, it surpasses its predecessor and sets the bar for future action movies.

The new chapter follows the Four survivors of the Ghostface murders leaving Woodsboro behind for a fresh start in New York City. However, they soon find themselves in a fight for their lives when a new killer embarks on a bloody rampage.
So basically, the movie is GhostFace takes Manhattan… sounds like I’ve seen this before….
The acting performances are decent, but there are no standout performances that really elevate the film. The characters are somewhat one-dimensional and lack depth, making it difficult to invest in their survival or demise fully. Bringing back Courtney Cox and Hayden Panettiere’s characters seems like fanfare with he hopes to help the film where it was lacking, a good story. The pacing of the film also feels uneven, with some scenes dragging on while others feel rushed.
Scream VI is an average addition to the horror franchise. While it has its moments of suspense and gore, the overall plot feels recycled and predictable. The film relies heavily on nostalgia and callbacks to previous films, which may be enjoyable for longtime fans but may not resonate as strongly with new viewers.
Overall, Scream VI is a serviceable horror movie to satisfy the fans of the franchise, but it fails to bring anything new or innovative to the table.

Michael B. Jordan reprises his role as Adonis Creed, and Tessa Thompson returns as Bianca, Adonis’s love interest. Additionally, it has been reported that the film follows Adonis as he navigates his life in and out of the ring, while also exploring a relationship with an estranged friend Dame played by Jonathan Majors.
The film is full of strong performances, emotional depth, and thrilling boxing scenes. Jonathan Majors absolutely steals the show and is the highlight of this film. Adonis feels more sidelined in this film as a result of Jonathan Majors emerging stardom.
Fans of the franchise won’t be disappointed as it keeps in step with previous entries, however, the film definitely suffers from a pacing problem. There is also a scene in the 3rd act that may be a misstep in tone and grounding. The fight scenes bounce from clean edits and interesting angles to at times feeling like shaky cam work.
Overall the performances are extremely strong here however there is nothing that really requires the big screen, so if you can wait for streaming you wouldn’t be missing anything.

Another significant factor that makes this movie worth watching is the brilliant performance by Jonathan Majors as Kang. Additionally, the chemistry between the main characters, especially between Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp, is undeniable. The comedic timing is excellent, and the performances bring a humanizing quality to the film, making it more relatable and enjoyable to watch.
Moreover, the storyline of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is captivating and compelling, full of twists and turns that will keep you engaged from beginning to end. The film’s pacing is well-managed, ensuring that the action sequences are never overbearing, and the humor is well-timed.

Cocaine Bear is very loosely based on a true 1985 true story of a bear that found missing cocaine from a drug runner’s plane.
The true story is just what you would expect, the bear eats the drugs and die. Not much to go by. Now, this frees up this movie to out of this world crazy. Cocaine Bear follows an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists, and teens who converge on a Georgia forest where a huge black bear goes on a murderous rampage after unintentionally ingesting cocaine. The movie title says it all. How much more can you ask when you see the title read Cocaine Bear?
As weird as the movie concept sounds, it does what is expected. You laugh and cringe at the attacks and the gore makes it different from what we are used to on the main screen. It’s like a blockbuster version of Sharknado.
The film provides a group of thankless roles with Keri Russell as a protective mother, Isiah Whitlock Jr as the cop involved in solving the lousy drug drop, Margo Martindale as the love-seeking park rangers, and O’Shea Jackson Jr, Alden Ehrenreich, and Ray Liotta who are looking for their missing drugs. Elizabeth Banks is behind the camera for this film with the script written by Jimmy Warden. I have no idea how they marketed the movie to the studio but I’m happy that this was made.

Written by Malignant screenwriter Akela Cooper & Story by James Wan Directed by Gerard Johnstone Staring Allison Williams Amie Donald & Violet McGraw. Gemma and her team work to create an AI-assisted toy named M3gan and everything go awry from there.
The film does VERY well with M3gan, however, lacks luster with all the other characters in my opinion. The closest character to care about was Cady, the other characters were simply unlikeable or uninteresting. Whenever M3gan is on screen the film is operating at an overall 9 however as soon as it rests on the shoulders of the other characters it operates at a steady 4.
The film is not bad at all however would have been exceptionally better with more M3gan, who brings color and campiness to an otherwise dull set piece.
