The new chapter follows the Four survivors of the Ghostface murders leaving Woodsboro behind for a fresh start in New York City. However, they soon find themselves in a fight for their lives when a new killer embarks on a bloody rampage.
So basically, the movie is GhostFace takes Manhattan… sounds like I’ve seen this before….
The acting performances are decent, but there are no standout performances that really elevate the film. The characters are somewhat one-dimensional and lack depth, making it difficult to invest in their survival or demise fully. Bringing back Courtney Cox and Hayden Panettiere’s characters seems like fanfare with he hopes to help the film where it was lacking, a good story. The pacing of the film also feels uneven, with some scenes dragging on while others feel rushed.
Scream VI is an average addition to the horror franchise. While it has its moments of suspense and gore, the overall plot feels recycled and predictable.
